Winning Entries of Harbour Porpoise Creativity Competition Presented to German Environment Minister

Berlin/Munich, 9 July 2014: Representatives of the environmental organizations NABU, OceanCare and WDC, as well as ASCOBANS, today met the German Federal Minister for the Environment, Dr. Barbara Hendricks. The Minister viewed the three winning entries of the creativity competition "The last 300", which the four organizations had jointly launched at last year's International Day of the Baltic Harbour Porpoise. The three NGOs also used the meeting to hand over a list of demands outlining urgently necessary conservation measures for the critically endangered harbour porpoise population in the Baltic Sea.
